Which methods are used for ant control?

- **Dust powder**: for ant nests deep inside cavity walls or floor layers, applied with a special pressure pump

How quickly does treatment work?

With gel, ants don't die immediately — this is intentional. The ants communicate the bait location to the rest of the nest, gradually distributing the poison themselves. This process takes **a few days to a few weeks**. Liquid and powder kill ants on direct contact.

Is one treatment enough?

Sometimes, but not always. Ants that have lived inside a building's structure for years (cavity walls, crawl spaces, floor layers) may require **multiple treatments over multiple years**. A single treatment is rarely sufficient for deep-seated infestations.

Flying ants, or ants that are active during winter or early spring, usually indicate a deeply entrenched nest — possibly associated with damp, old leaks, underfloor heating or wood rot. These situations typically require more intensive, long-term treatment.
